I’m getting an strange Undefined Variable notice above a blog posts block for whatever reason:
Notice: Undefined variable: tribe_ea_record_items in /…/…/…/…/wp-content/themes/uncode/vc_templates/uncode_index.php on line 294
It’s definitely related to The Events Calendar plugin as it went away when I deactivated, returned when activated.
Notice is in plain text visible on the published page above a block that contains some blog info.
Help much appreciated.

Hi – I am working with your plugin together with af proffessionel theme from themeforest https://themeforest.net/item/bridge-creative-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/7315054 which have 72,240 Sales
I love the theme and your plugin, but sadly, there is some functionality of the theme, that doesn’t work when your plugin is active.
The theme can use AJAX to get the pages you are navigating to, so the pages animates in, and the header/footer stays – but when you plugin is active, you can’t use that, and is forced to disable the ajax for the theme, else you can not navigate to any pages, as it just stays on a loading screen forever.
I tried to uncheck the “Use ajax” in your plugin, but it did not help – and it still get some ususpected char syntax in your plugin files.
I have also written the theme author, but since both of you have tons of installs – I hope that we can make it work together – So do you have any idea?
Can ajax be completly disabled for you plugin? or use a check to see if AJAX is already running?
thank you for your time.
Jesper

For some reason, links do not work properly (month view, list view, day).
Link to the next month shows up as:
http://<myhost>/wordpress?post_type=tribe_events&tribe_event_display=day&date=2017-05-05
If I change display parameter to day or month, the view changes appropriately.
However, the date part is completely ignored?
After some trial and error, it seems the parameter should be tribal-bar-date rather than date.

Hi guys,
In a recent change on our wordpress installation by our hoster we experienced some issues with the events calendar. Now our hoster is a bit hipster in technologies sometimes and quite focussed on security. He relocated our plugins directory to <site_root>/addons. Now this works fine for most plugins, except for this one.
It seems that resource url’s are loaded by resolving the path and a WP_CONTENT_DIR / content_url string replacement. This works fine when using a default wordpress installation. But not when your plugins directory is not inside the content directory. I’ve tried changing the url replacement to work with WP_PLUGIN_DIR and plugins_url() but could not really get it to work reliably (I’ve only changed the tribe_resource_url() method).
Is there a specific reason why the url’s are resolved this way instead of using plugins_url() in some way? The method that is used now expects the plugin to be installed inside the wp content directory, which might not be the case in every wordpress installation.
For now we have reset the locations to wordpress defaults. Is there a way to fix this in a future release?

Howdy folks!
We’re happy to announce that The Events Calendar 4.5.3 officially released just moments ago. This is a maintenance release, which is a fancy way of saying we squashed a lot of bugs, including some high priority ones we know many of you will appreciate.
So, what’s new in this release? Glad you asked, because I was getting to the change log:
Next up, we’re making progress on the next major feature release for The Events Calendar and can’t wait to get that out to you. In the meantime, please update safely as you would with any other WordPress, theme or plugin update and be sure to let us know if you run into any other issues.
We have a Known Issues page for you to reference so you can see what’s already on our radar for a fix.
Happy calendaring, everyone!

Hi,
I am looking for the REST api endpoints for your plugin that you have listed in the description.
Where would I find that info?

When using a different language (e.g. German), links to the organizer and venue pages are translated, i.e. they link to /veranstalter/MyOrganizer despite the correct target being /organizer/MyOrganizer. This leads to broken links (404).
Editing the organizer reveals the “correct” English slug. There is no option to set a custom slug.

When I go to update my plugin thru the wordpress dashboard, my site crashes. I had to reinstall the old version via filezilla. I don’t think it’s my theme as I have several websites that use this plug in and they all use the same theme (frontier) and the plugin updates with no problem. help!

Hi there!
We are using feeds to feed (?) a newsletter… and it would be nice an option to events in the main wordpress feed too…
As I see it… the events are currently not added to that “regular” feed, only showing in the events feed section?
Best regards!
Luciano

Our theme adds a menu bar across the top of the page that stays put as you scroll through the page. The events plugin titles are hidden by this menu bar. Is there a way to add some white space at the top of the page so the titles start lower? (all events link, etc)

I just updated my plugin and attempted to change shortcode [ecs-list-events order=’DESC’] and nothing works. My events are loading old to new instead of the other way around. How can I fix this?
Thx

Looking for instructions on how to switch the calendar view to list view AUTOMATICALLY when viewing on mobile.
I know the calendar works on mobile, but the list view is a better user experience.
I have tried copying the calendar theme mobile file (views/month/mobile.php) into my theme for modification, and pasting in list view code, but that’s not really working as the list view code is spread out over a couple of files.
A search did turn up this:
if( wp_is_mobile() ) {
wp_redirect( tribe_get_upcoming_link() );
}
?>
but that did nothing – perhaps I’m putting it in the wrong spot?
